When I first came to Sayulita 10 years ago, pretty much everyone walked everywhere. Now it seems like everyone has cars. But a new mode of transportation has come to town....golf carts, the latest rage. And with that it seems the driving age has been lowered to....well, whoever's feet can reach the pedal. There is even a golf cart gang--not quite the Hell's Angels, but they are kind of a rowdy bunch. Me, I still like my bicycle.
Cuando llegué por primera vez a Sayulita hace 10 años, casi todo el mundo caminaba por todas partes. Ahora parece que todo el mundo tiene coche. Sin embargo, un nuevo modo de transporte ha llegado al pueblo .... los carritos de golf, la última moda. Y con eso parece que la edad del conductor se ha reducido a .... bueno, cualquiera con pies que puedan alcanzar al pedal. Hay incluso una banda de carrito de golf - no precisamente los Ángeles del Infierno, sino que un especie de grupo bullicioso. A mí me sigue gustando mi bicicleta.
