Whenever I'm walking around with my big fat camera, it's always guys who say, "Hey! Take a picture of me!" Yesterday when these two guys hollered out to me, they were kind of surprised when I walked over and started shooting. They own shops right next to each other on Avenida Revolucion, just past El Espresso. Gabriel has the Fenix Tattoo Shop, doing (duh!) tattoos and piercings, but also sells skateboards and clothes. Koyul and his wife, Linda, own Mexica Teahui, selling jewlery, clothes, natural remedies, lotions and potions. We ended up hanging out and talking for a while. Gabriel wants to influence kids to get into music--he performs hip hop at various places around town. Koyul and his wife make micro remedies from plants for all sorts of ailments and also do the Temescal (Mexican sweat lodge) on the full moon. I love living in a small town--so many interesting people!

Cada que ando por el pueblo con mi camera enorme, siempre hay chicos que dicen "oiga, tome mi foto!"  Ayer cuando dos jovenes me pidieron que les tomara fotos se sorprendieron cuando empeze a caminar hacia ellos para tomarles fotos. Son duenos de tiendas en Calle Revolucion, pasando El Epresso. Gabriel tiene la tienda de tatuajes y claro, lo que hace son los tatuajes y perforacines, pero tambien vende patinetas y ropa. Koyul y su esposa, Linda tienen la tienda a un lado Mexica Teahui y venden joyeria, ropa, remedios naturales y cremas. Acabamos platicando un rato. Gabriel quiere ser una buena influencia para los jovenes, hace musica Hip Hop en lugares del pueblo. Koyul y su esposa hacen remedios de plantas y para todo tipo de enfermedad y tambien hacen Temescales durante las lunas llenas. Me encanta vivir en un pueblo pequeno, hay tantas personas interesantes.
