How old are you and where were you born? my full name is Silvana Noemi Ruiz Machuca, I am 17 years old. I was born at the hospital in San Pancho. I have lived in Sayulita my whole live.

Cuantos anios tienes y donde naciste? MI NOMBRE COMPLETO ES SILVANA NOEMI RUIZ MACHUCA tengo 17 anios. naci en el hospital de San Pancho. He vivido toda mi vida.

Family history?my dad is Jorge Ruiz Bernabe, 54 and he has a cock farm, my mom is Ofelia Machuca Rivera, 54 and she is  a house wife. I have 5 siblings. the oldest Luis is 38 years, he is a bricklayer, Angelina is 36, a housewife, Manuel, has 33 years,  he is a worker for SEAPAL, Jorge is 28, a laborer and Elvira, the youngest is 15 years and currently pursuing 3 secondary level here in the Mexican Revolution Secondary School.

Historia familiar? mi papa se llama Jorge Ruiz Bernabe, tiene  54   y es gallero; mi mama se llama Ofelia Machuca Rivera tiene 54 y es ama de casa. tengo 5 hermanos. el mayor Luis tiene 38 anos, el es albanil; Angelina tiene 36, es ama de casa; Manuel, tiene 33 anos, el es trabajador de SEAPAL; Jorge tiene 28, es obrero y Elvira, la menor tiene 15 anos y actualmente cursa 3 grado de secundaria aqui en la Revolucion Mexicana.

Work history? I have only worked at one place, i still do work there, at Cafe El Espresso, as a part of the barista team.

Historia laboral? Solo he trabajado en Cafe El Espresso, donde actualmente laboro, como parte del grupo de baristas.

Education history? i studied kinder garden here at the Bertha von glummer, the primary school also here at the Damian Carmona and the secondary school at the Revolucion Mexicana. currently i study the second semester of high school at the CETMAR, in la Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

Historia educativa? El kinder lo estudie en el jardin de ninos Bertha von Glummer, la primaria en la Damian Carmona y la secundaria en la Revolucion Mexicana. ahorita estudio el segundo semestre de la carrera de Alimentos en el CETMAR de la Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

what do you like about Sayulita? i like the people, the beaches and the great turist flow.

Que es lo que te gusta de Sayulita? su gente, sus playas y el gran flujo turistico que se vivi aqui.

 

What are the positive changes that you have seen in Sayulita? before there was no drainage in town and now we have the treatment plant for sewage and waste. the streets are now paved and there is more accommodation, more hotels, before we were hosting  for some domestic tourists in our homes for Easter because there was not enough accommodation. The new colonies now have water and electricity.

Cuales son los cambios positivos que has visto en Sayulita? antes no habia drenaje en el pueblo y ahora tenemos la planta de tratamiento de aguas negras para ya no echar los residuos caseros en el mar. las calles ahora estan empedradas y hay mas alojamiento, mas hoteles, antes nosotros alojabamos a los turistas nacionales en nuestras casas para semana santa puesto que no habia suficiente alojamiento. Las nuevas colonias ahora tienen agua y electricidad.

What was your motivation to enter a beauty pageant? when I was a child i used to watch the  beauty pageants and always wanted to be like the girls in it, now that I am a beauty queen i hope to be a role model for girls who see me and want to be the queen of Sayulita someday. my family and friends have been my best support. I hope to do my best  in Miss Bahia de Banderas. for me it was a great experience and I feel that helped me do better in my life, I feel more prepared as a  woman. I invite the other girls to be encouraged to participate.

Que te motivo para participar en un concurso de belleza? cuando yo era nina veia los concursos de belleza y siempre quise serlo, ahora que lo soy espero poder ser un modelo a seguir para las ninas que me ven y quieren ser la reina de Sayulita alguna vez. mi familia y mis amigos han sido mi mejor apoyo. espero hacer un muy buen papel en Senorita Bahia de Banderas. para mi ha sido una experiencia muy buena y siento que me ayudara a desenvolverme mejor en mi vida, me siento una mujer mas preparada. invito a las demas chicas para que se animen a concursar.

What would you suggest to the people that comes for the first time to Sayulita?visit our beaches, restaurants, enjoy the natural settings.  we have the horse back riding, bike rides, the canopy, boat ride to see whales. enjoy the festivities of the town that are from February 16 to February 24. the celebrations of the revolution for the November 20 is a lot of fun and also the   Virgin of Guadalupe days in December. come and have fun.

Que le aconsejas a la gente que viene por primera vez a Sayulita? que visite sus playas, sus restaurantes, que disfruten el paisaje con una bonito paisaje. Que den la vuelta en caballo, paseos en moto, el Canopy, pasear en lancha para ver las ballenas. que disfruten las fiestas del pueblo que son desde del 16 de febrero al 24 de febrero. las fiestas de la revolucion para el 20 de noviembre se ponen muy divertidas y tambien el novenario de la virgen de Guadalupe en diciembre. que vengan y se diviertan mucho.
