It's a good thing that a few people have really stepped up to the plate.  During my (almost) two years as president, I've tried to thank as many volunteers as possible, but the ones who have really given of themselves to our town have been the Grupo Pro Sayulita board of directors and committee chairs - in a few cases, one and the same.  For example, Cheryl Vaughan, our treasurer, has also spearheaded so many great programs for the public schools as head of the Education Committee. The position of Treasurer would be more than enough work for one person, and she has carried two positions, plus more details than I can count.

 

Suzanne Gravelle has been the board's secretary and kept our meetings transparent and has sent out a zillion memos and minutes.  Suzanne also has a passon for recycling, and this has been a big task, although thankfully a few other volunteers have helped to save the program.

Marcos Scott was co-founder of Sayulimpia, that morphed into GPS, and has been on our board forever, while working with board member Lazaro Garcia in both GPS affairs and in Sayulimpia.  Under Sayulimpia, there are folks working daily just to keep Sayulita clean.  If you don't think it's helping, just ask them to stop for a week, and you'll really notice the difference.

 

Newer board member Damien Porter has been busy with the Community Police Program, and fellow board member Nick Sherman has been busy with graphics, new signage, and more - not to mention how active he was helping victims of the flood a year ago.

Thank them in person if you bump into them.  But I can tell you that these folks can't keep it up forever.  They need some help--- will you consider joining?

¡UNOS POCOS HOMBRES Y MUJERES BUENOS!

Es una cosa buena que unas personas han ascendido realmente al plato. Durante mi (casi) dos años como presidente, yo he tratado de dar gracias como muchos voluntarios como posible pero los que han dado a sí mismo realmente a nuestro pueblo han sido las sillas de la junta directiva y el comité - en unos pocos casos, uno y lo mismo. Por ejemplo, Cheryl Vaughan, nuestro tesorero, también ha encabezado gran tantos programas para las escuelas públicas como cabeza del Comité de la Educación. La posición de Tesorero sería más de suficientes trabajo para una persona, y ella ha llevado dos posiciones, más más detalles que puedo contar.

Suzanne Gravelle ha sido el secretario de la tabla y mantuvo nuestras reuniones transparentes y ha mandado un tropecientos memorándums y los minutos. Suzanne también tiene un passon para el reciclaje, y esto han sido una tarea grande, aunque voluntarios agradecidamente otros pocos hayan ayudado a guardar el programa.

Si usted no piensa que ayuda, pide sólo que paren para una semana, y usted advertirá realmente la diferencia.

 

Más nuevo miembro de la tabla Damien Porter ha estado ocupado con la Policía de la Comunidad Programa, y miembro prójimo de tabla Nick Sherman ha estado ocupado con la gráfica, nuevos letreros, y más-no mencionar cuán activo ayudaba a víctimas de la inundación hace un año.

Dé graciaslos en persona si usted los choca contra. Pero le puedo decir que estas gente no lo pueden mantenerse al ritmo de para siempre. ¿Necesitan alguna ayuda -- -le hace considera la unión?
