Cap Sparling: Compliments to El Sayulero

I want to compliment you and your staff on the evolution of El Sayulero since its inception but particularly over the past year. I have to admit that it took me a while to even read it as I was "busy" and, to tell the truth, I thought it would be stuff I either knew or didn't care to know.  I was wrong and I'm writing to say so!  I now anticipate the Friday delivery of your paper to find out the whys and wherefores of what's happening here in our little town, and that's particularly important when I'm out of town.

I became an early fan of your weekly interviews about our citizens that were making a difference, and to learn some personal information about them and their families and the part of the interviews I read with particular interest was "what they liked", "what they didn't like" and "what they would change" as being a visitor who came in the early 70's, I've seen a lot of changes in Sayulita!  And, finally, I would like to compliment all of you for some of the sections dealing with current events, i.e., "what's happening with our roads", the Pet of the week or what some good Samaritan has brought to town and donated to the schools.

Sorry it's taken so long for me to write and say "thanks" for adding something valuable to my life and our town!
