Spring is gently coming to life - and with it, a call for a subtle change in lifestyle as our bodies and minds adjust to a kinder environment. We see our beautiful Sayulita full of flowers, birds, warmer nights and more nightlife than during the winter.

All around the world and especially here in Sayulaita, everyone has their own idea of what yoga is; some believe it may be an Eastern religion, while others see it as a strenuous workout. According to Hindu legend, the appearance of Yoga on Earth occurred when a fish (Mat-sya, hence the name Matsyendrasana for the position of the fish) appeared while the god Shiva taught his wife Parvati yoga exercises. The fish mimicked Parvati and while practicing the exercises became a man.
